











Pumice Stones
The term pumice (pumice) is an Italian word. It has different names in different languages. For example, in French Ponce, in English (coarse grain) Pumice, (fine-grained) Pumicite, in German (coarse) Bims, (fine-grained) Bimstein. In Turkish, it is known by many names such as pumice stone, foam stone, callus stone.
Perlite
Classified Raw perlite is preheated and transferred to the vertical furnace. Under the heat shock of 800 – 1000 ºC, it expands with the effect of the steam coming out of its body and turns into a foam aggregate consisting of glassy grains. This phenomenon is called expanded perlite. Expanded perlite is light and white in different sizes.
Vermiculite
The name vermiculite is derived from the Latin word “vermiculare”, which means breeding worms. Vermiculite has an important use in agriculture as a soil conditioner due to its very low density. It has an important usage area in buildings as insulation material. due to its insulating properties.Â
Zeolite Clinoptilolite
It is a mineral that formed as a consequence of the chemical reaction of ash and lava, which originated from the eruption of volcanoes millions of years ago, with lakes or sea waters.
Sepiolite
It is a precious and limited mineral owing to its hydrous magnesium silicate high action proper, it’s porosity, crystal morphology, and physicochemical properties.
Kaolin
In classifications of clay which are classified according to their aluminum hydrosilicate crystal construction, those which are equidimensional elongated in one direction are classified as kaonite group.
Bentonite
It comprised of clay minerals with tiny crystals, which originated from chemical decomposition of volcanic ash, tuff, lava that abound with aluminum and magnesium.
